Your pizza sauce could have maggots in it
Bugs and insects are openly eaten all over the world as a cheap source of protein. The United States is not one of those countries. Not on purpose anyway. Yet the FDA allows pizza restaurants to have 15 fruit fly eggs or one maggot in every 100 grams of pasta and pizza sauces. Bon appetit!
