Crystals sold in thrift stores often was made via outdated manufacturing methods. Vintage crystal decanters, plates and glasses thus may contain up to 32% lead oxide. Lead oxide is extremely toxic and kills if inhaled or swallowed. Skip this item. Or test them with a lead test and never use them for food and drink.
