Extended warranties
You’re being pressured into buying an extended warranty at the counter for a reason. Retailers keep 50% of contracts they sell. Most manufacturers offer product warranties for a few months up to a year. Repair costs might be less than the warranty. Credit cards also may have benefits to cover repairs. Just skip it.
