Taco Bell taco filling is “mostly” meat
In 2011, a lawsuit challenged Taco Bell’s assertion that its taco filling could be called “beef.” It turns out that the company’s taco filling contains about 88% beef and ingredient fillers such as oats and seasoning. The revelation made the fast food giant the butt of late-night TV jokes for years. Eventually, Taco Bell reworded their menu items and the suit was dropped.
