Owning vs. renting, employer vs. employee
When you rent, you are paying someone else to stay in a property you don’t own, and you do so on their financial terms. Likewise, if you own a company you can hire workers to help it expand and grow. Yet you still own all of it. As an employee, you will encounter a limit to your professional growth no matter how long you work. That’s because you are simply a component of a business.
