Yes, $400,000 is well over the price of a new luxury home in much of the country. Rapper Drake has spent that amount on a mattress. The superstar made headlines in April after revealing the commission of a $400,000 bed from Swedish company Hästens. The Grand Vividus is hand-stitched and takes more than 600 hours to manufacture. It’s made with horsehair, stingray skin (!) and artisanal handwoven textiles.
