A sickness on a cruise ship spreads like a wildfire in a gasoline-soaked forest. If one person gets norovirus, the flu, or some other contagious illness, then there is nowhere is go. You could spend the majority of your cruise vacation very ill. Or, trapped in your cramped cabin trying to avoid sickness.
