Alexandrite
Found in Russia, India, Sri Lanka and Tanzania, Alexandrite is very scarce. They are almost always found in one carat sizes or smaller. One carat is worth $15,000 or $70,000 for rarer, larger stones. The Smithsonian Institution owns a 65.08 carat, cushion-cut Alexandrite gemstone worth $4 million.
