After offering paltry yields during the past 10 years, U.S. Treasurys now provide more enticing returns. The 10-year note currently yields 1.40%, while the 3-month T-Bill is yielding 1.55%. You can rollover the proceeds at maturity into other Treasurys and possibly lock in a higher yield.
