Mildew
Mildew is a common fungus that grows in standing water. Check the bathroom shower tile, shower head, and handles for tell-tale black growth. You might find it on the silverware, plates, and on the lip of a water boiler, coffee carafe, or tea kettle. Don’t be afraid to demand a room cleaning or a room change or new silverware and appliances from staff.
