The big-box musical equipment retailer declared bankruptcy in November 2020 only to reemerge with an infusion of private capital a month later. It has 300 stores and its sister company, Music & Arts, has another 200. Management has said it is looking to “optimize” its real estate footprint, though few stores have closed so far.
