Low-paying and entry level jobs are routine, plentiful, and relatively easy to automate compared to other kinds of jobs. If you aren’t paying attention, these jobs already are disappearing. Think about automated phone operators and digital kiosks at the movie theater and store checkouts. Customer-facing jobs like these will be among the first wave of jobs to disappear forever.
