Long-term care insurance
Medicare coverage is available only to people aged 65 and older. If you are younger, you need to buy a health care plan that adequately covers your needs until you become eligible for Medicare. Even if you are eligible for Medicare, you need to remember that it does not cover all your medical needs. Long-term care, in particular, is not covered under Medicare except under certain circumstances. Long-term care insurance could be crucial in your retirement years, especially if you have diabetes or heart disease.
