Munger urges investors to dispense with a lot of the technically complex methodologies used by many securities analysts to determine a stock’s price or intrinsic value. “You don’t need higher math in business,” Munger notes. It’s much better to understand the company and its competitive position; that’s often not disclosed by the math.
