Exchange money into the currency of your destination at a local bank before you leave. Airports exchange offices will charge you the highest possible rates. What sense does it makes to pay inflated fees to change money just for lack of planning? Often, too, friends returning from your destination may have currency they would gladly exchange with you for dollars.
