Unpredictability
Genetic editing involves removing or editing a gene in the hopes of a preferred genetic outcome. However, most diseases and deformities are caused by multiple genes, sometimes through family history. Changing or deleting genes could cause unintended effects. For instance, humans susceptible to otherwise harmless illnesses could be created accidently.
