Class divide consequences
Gene editing could create indelible, future class distinctions. Not by race or ethnicity, but by what it means to be human at all. Why have a normal human scientist, head of state, or athlete when genetically designed super-humans exist? Genetically un-enhanced human beings may become second-class citizens, or worse.
