Eradicate wet spaces
Make sure you have adequate water drainage from your home. Inspect the floor around washing machines, dishwashers, refrigerators, and under the sink. Look for wet spots in the basement and attic. Rake soil and wood mulch around your home’s foundation to keep it dryer. Wet spots attract pests and aid in their proliferation.
